Cute Video

This is a video that my kids love to see. It is a Hippo singing "In the Jungle". It makes me laugh whenever I see it. Isabelle and Gideon were over here this weekend and they also loved it. I hope that you all enjoy it.

Dad and Mom's Anniversary

Mom and dad came down on Friday to finish bringing us our things. Of course it was also their 33rd anniversary. We had a great time with them. These are pictures of us in Richard's classroom. Aaron is being a dork in this picture! I love it though!!

I am not sure what Jacob is drawing in this picture, I think that it might be a spider. It is hard to tell. Aaron was drawing a woman caught in a spiderweb. They are obsessed with spiders right now.

Rebekah is holding Mushu and Alyssa is holding Ping in these pictures. Thanks Mom and Dad for coming down. We had a lot of fun!!

New House, New Home

Due to some terrible circumstances at work Richard was forced to look for another job. He found a teaching job in Wichita, KS teaching 5th grade. It is a great school district. They pay for everyone to be on insurance and a teacher that Richard had not met offered to let all of us stay in her house until we found somewhere. This was God pushing us to where we were meant to be. What the Devil wants for evil, God uses it for good. Richard is so happy at his new job and I am able to stay at home and finish my classes without having to work. I will be graduating with a degree in Psychology in May or June 2009. Here are pictures of the house we are at now. I have tons of boxes to put away.

People from one congregation (1 of 31 churches of christ here in Wichita) came to help us move in. There ended up to be 9 people here to help. What a blessing that was for us. My parents are going to bring down our car this friday and the rest of our boxes and then we will officially be moved to KS. Apparently it has to rain every time we move and it was a downpour when we moved into this house. I had no idea that Kansas even got rain. Who knew?

This is going upstairs to the main level. The main level has the rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and dining room/living room

This is going down stairs to our family room and 1/2 bath. This is also where we can go out to the garage. We have a HUGE back yard that God has blessed us with and our landlord says that in 6 months we can start to rent to own if we want to. God is so good!

I had to throw these pictures in of Isabelle and Gideon because, well, they are just cute. I will miss getting to see them all the time. I am so glad that they are close enough to visit though.

Tornado

Here are just a couple pics of the funnel cloud that was over York two weeks ago. These pictures are from Leann and Mom. They were each taking turns with the camera while the other was downstairs with the kids. It was not very far from our house. Ya just gotta love the excitement of Nebraska! Love ya all!

Kids at Grandma and Grandpa's house

Look at the fun we get to have at Grandma's house! My mom helping Isabelle feed the ducks.
Gideon was much braver with the ducks!

Here are all the men about to put the flag on the flagpole.

Aaron has now yanked out both of his front teeth. He tried to show me when he was yanking them out, but I am a weenie. I told him to show his dad!

The back end of Gideon

The front end. You gotta love dog doors!

Isabelle and Gideon love cats!

New Babies

Just thought that I would get a picture of the boys playing on the computer in this picture. It is their favorite pastime. Just like their Mom and Dad!

This is our first new baby. His name is Mushu. He likes to run around and attack everything. He is hilarious.

This is our other baby. His name is Ping. He is the sweetest little cat and loves to be pet. Both of the kittens are brothers. Funny how different the personalities are, just like kids! I forgot how easy cats are to take care of. It is nice not having to worry about them and they keep each other entertained.
On a serious note, I would like prayers for Rebekah. A man walked by our house today and called her "trash" and threw a rock at her. We have called the police, but she is really shaken up about it. It makes my heart ache that I cannot protect my children from these sort of things.
"And when the wind blows, he is my shelter. When I am lost and alone, he rescues me. When the lion comes, he is my victory. He is constantly watching over me."
