This weekend we went and visited my Grandma. She is up at Mom and Dad's house for three weeks. We left Friday evening after school. It was a nice drive and we were just 20 miles (give or take) from their house when our tire blew. I mean that thing was torn up. It was crazy. Richard and I didn't realize that the tire blew for a few seconds because the van never swerved or anything. However, God blessed us where we pulled off because we were on a driveway next to a field so we had plenty of room to change a tire. So Richard and I, the kids, and the dogs all piled out. It was still light outside so that was also a blessing. Anyway we eventually got the tire changed and made it to my parent's house. Then we had a lovely time visiting. It was nice to relax up there. Mia did pretty well running around without a leash on. I think that she was learning those good habits from Jasmine and Wilson. The boys were constantly outside helping Grandpa do some work. =) All the kids had fun looking for frogs. Have a great week everyone!

Rebekah's Choir Concert
Rebekah had her first choir concert at Eisenhower Middle School. She switched middle schools at the semester and has been doing amazing here. Let me just say that their choir was AWESOME! Leann, it reminded me of when Mrs. Gilbertson was teaching us. This woman did a great job. The person that Rebekah had at Wilbur Middle School did not have the kids focused at all. It was horrible. Anyway, back to this choir concert. Rebekah refused to look at us the whole time she was up there. She said that she would have laughed. Now I ask you, would I do anything to try and make my daughter laugh? =) (this is a rhetorical question, please do not feel that you must enlighten me on my personality) =) It was a great night and I am so proud of Rebekah!!
Alyssa's 10th Birthday
Hello again everyone! These are pictures of Alyssa's 10th birthday. Her birthday was actually on Wednesday so she just opened presents with just us. Then that Friday she had two girlfriends over. They are sisters named Alyanna and Felicia. We all went to the zoo and watched movies. The girls just had a great time. Then yesterday (as part of her birthday present) we took Alyssa to Claire's to get her ears pierced. She was totally excited about it and absolutely loves them. Then of course while we were there we had to get some earrings. =) She was very brave and I was so proud that she didn't cry when she got them done. She keeps looking at herself in the mirror! =) Ha Ha! Oh she wanted a big birthday cookie instead of cake which went over very well. I also chopped her hair off because she hates it long. Have a great day everyone!
Easter
Alrighty, we will be going back in time as I have been totally slacking on putting anything on the blog. So we will start with Easter. It was a lot of fun. We went to Mom and Dad's house. Mom and Dad found a couple eggs after we left, at least they were plastic. That is the very abbreviated version of our time there so I hope that pictures do speak louder than words.
