Singing

Hello again! I just thought that you should see what we are spending our time doing this summer. Rebekah loves to draw so I decided that this would be a great picture of her in action.
Richard got a singing game and so of course I love it!! We all love to play it.
Jacob likes me to help him sing because he cannot read all the words.

Richard and Jacob getting down singing "Kryptonite".

Aaron and Alyssa decided that they must sing "Young Folks" which has a boy and girl part. I love it when we can all play a game that is so interactive.

Lunch Time

We have been having a very good time this summer and it is hard to believe that it is almost over. Leann and I went to Branson this past weekend to see our friend Laura. It was very nice to see her again. Leann brought her kids and I was there as back-up! =) Leann did try to throw some kind of beetle on me in our hotel room. She said that it jumped, but I have my doubts about that! Ha! Richard had our kids while I was gone. So yesterday we had the Woodard kids come over while Leann and Ryan had to do some shopping for their new house. I thought that it was so cute that all the kids were sitting on the porch eating that I had to take a picture of it. That is a lot of kids for just my parents only having two girls! As of Monday I have officially graduated with my Bachelor's of Arts in psychology! I am so excited about it. I will be starting my Masters probably in October or something like that. Richard has started his masters in education now. Our first day of school starts August 17 so I am sure that Richard will be starting to go to his room next week. Have a fabulous last few weeks of summer everyone!

Fourth of July Party

As you can see we hung out with Ryan and Leann for the fourth of July. It was a lot of fun. Leann tried so hard to get a picture of Richard and I with fireworks in the background. However, my camera has a huge delay on it so by the time she took it, it was gone. Finally we got one picture. So mission accomplished! We went to Goddard for the fireworks. It is the town right by Wichita. I work in Goddard and the kids are going to school there this year. Anyway, they had free food, moon bounce, and then the fireworks display. Before they even started that there were so many fireworks all around us. It was very cool. We didn't get home til 11:00pm. The kids were soooo tired this morning, as was I. So we are making them go to bed early tonight. They loved it though. Hope you all had a safe and fun fourth.

NKOTB Baby!!

Yes, it is true! Leann and I are going to see New Kids On The Block (aka NKOTB)tomorrow night!! It is super exciting. For those of you who have no idea who they are, I feel sorry for you. Richard is just excited that I am not going with him. Apparently he is not too fond of them. I am going to relive my childhood by hearing them once again. Laura and Carrie, wish you were coming...It won't be the same. You know we watched their video a million times! LOL! I am sure that Leann and I will have updates on both of our blogs! Then of course Saturday is the fourth of July so lots of fun stuff is happening. Don't worry, I will keep you updated "step by step" (that is a song by NKOTB). I will now stop before I decide to use any more puns. Have a fun weekend everyone! (I don't know why the blog keeps cutting off Danny in the picture, but you can only see part of his arm)
