School Pictures

Here are our first day of school pictures. Actually, we took the pictures the night before so that I wouldn't have to worry about it in the morning. It was all I could do to keep Jacob from not jumping all around like a maniac while the picture was being taken! =)

All the kids got to pick one new outfit for school. They were very excited about it. Of course the shirts that the boys picked came with toys, so I don't know if they really liked the shirts or the toys better. However, the toys have already broken. Oh the woes of life.

This outfit of Alyssa's was so perfect for her. She always wants to accessorize her clothing. So this was great that the shirt already came with a cute scarf.

Rebekah has been loving to draw animae characters and now I think that her hair is starting to reflect this. I think it is really cute. She was horrified that she didn't know she bought a Miley Sirus shirt until we had already had it home. I hope that she wears it again now that she knows.

School has went pretty smoothly. Much better than last year. The kids all made it onto their buses and even got home! =) The boys go to latchkey every morning at their school and they love it. I have been having a good year and have some very interesting kids that I work with (Mom you know who I am taking about =)). Richard has been super busy with doing his masters and work. However, he is getting it all done. Tonight we go to have a movie night at church. Maybe I will take pictures. Have a wonderful week everyone!

New Haircut

Rebekah decided that she wanted to cut and dye her hair. So now she looks so much older and it makes me sad. We went to supercuts and I just love how inexpensive and fast they are. They have always been really nice to us. So here is the picture of her. School starts monday so I am sure that there will be many new stories to share on the blog and of course the first day of school photos. Have a wonderful day!

Isa's 5th Birthday and Trauma

We celebrated Isabelle's 5th birthday at our house yesterday. Leann and Ryan had already celebrated with Ryan's family so we did our own little thing. Unfortunately right before Isabelle was going to open her presents the glass fell out of our screen door and cut Alyssa's leg. However, she refused to go to the hospital until Isabelle had opened up all of her presents. Then I had to take Alyssa to the hospital where after 3 hours and 4 stitches later we were able to come home. Here is my brave girl putting on her best smile in the midst of her traumatic experience.

Sydney was busy talking on the phone the whole time that Isabelle was opening presents.

This is so precious. Aaron had Isabelle sit on his lap while she was opening presents so that he could help her. What a kind boy!

Random Pics

Just thought that I would show you all a couple of random pictures. This is from yesterday before church. It was the 50th anniversary at Westlink Church of Christ so we had a lot of visitors and the singing was amazing!

When Mom and Dad were here we forced them to play "Lips" which is a singing game. I think this is just a great picture of mom.

It was hilarious when Dad tried to sing some high pitch girl songs. I thought that I would die laughing. It was great!

Graduation Party!!!

Yesterday there was a surprise graduation party for me! It was super fun and I think everyone had a really great time. Mom, Dad, Ryan, and Leann set it up and then Richard was to make sure that I got there on time. I broke my shoe right before going so we were like 15 minutes late. The tiki head at my graduation party spit bubbles out and the kids thought it was great. Apparently many people knew about the party for a while. Of course the kids didn't know until it was starting. The kids started dragging each other around while we were there. Apparently this was the only game that they could all play together, but they loved it. So thanks again to everyone for coming. It was so fun and a great ending for all the years of being in college. Love you all!
