Fun Times at the Zoo

Aaron, Gideon, Isabelle, and Jacob are enjoying Leann's pool that she set up for the kids. What a great way to cool off!

Rebekah and Alyssa got to be "special" and play in the bathtub instead of the pool.

Here is almost the whole family at the zoo (Richard and Ryan had to work). Starting on the left is Jacob, Me, Aaron, Gideon, Mom, Dad, Alyssa, Rebekah, Isabelle, and Leann.

This gorilla was very entertaining. This is Jacob and Isabelle.

We had to get pictures on the Gorillas. I think we do that every time we go to the zoo.

More pictures on the Gorillas.

My Aunt Donna was up here for a week. It was very nice to see her. She is my dad's sister.

Aaron helps out by holding Isabelle's hand. It was so cute. Alyssa is pushing the stroller.

Lunch time!!! This is me, Rebekah, Gideon, Isabelle, and Leann.

Eating with Dad, Jacob and Alyssa.

Picture of all the grand kids so far. Leann is due October 30th.

Here is a great picture of Leann with Gideon. This is his new "backpack". It was the best thing ever invented.

Farmer's Market

On Thursday I took Alyssa, Aaron, Jacob, Isabelle, and Gideon to the Farmer's Market. It was dress as a pirate day. Rebekah was over at her friend's house, but they did show up. In the first picture is Betty Jo and Rebekah. The kids had a wonderful time. These are a few pictures that are actually on the York Newspaper website. Hope you all are having a wonderful summer!

Aaron's Best Friend

Aaron was looking at pictures today and saw a picture of his best friend, Troy. Aaron instantly burst into tears. They were never separated and were always getting into trouble together. I could not have asked for a better friend for my son. Triahnna, I miss you very much! This is when the boys were at camp together in North Carolina. They both had brought their light sabers to play "star wars".

A day at the park

My Mom took all of the grandkids to the park yesterday. They all had a wonderful time! Thank you mom! This a picture of my nephew Gideon. Rebekah is pushing him in the swing. Isn't he adorable?
This is my neice Isabelle. I thought this was a great picture of her. She is already posing for pictures! What a sweetie!

Here is Rebekah. She is going to be in 6th grade in August. Middle School! She is a great help with Isabelle and Gideon. She loves to take care of them. I loved this picture of her too. It was really hard to choose her pictures. She had a lot great ones!

Here Aaron is playing in the sand. He is going to be in 1st grade this year. He likes school and excells at it. He is in T ball right now. I will get some pictures of that on here later.

Jacob was attacking something with sticks. He is constantly moving and is very funny. It is really hard to get him to hold still for the camera so this is a miracle picture! He is going into kindergarten this year. He is very excited.

Here Alyssa is posing for the camera. I think that Isabelle and her are so much alike. Alyssa will be going into 3rd grade. She loves to paint and draw. She totally gets that from Leann (my sister).

Some more pictures of the kids.

Hope you all have enjoyed the pictures. I have enjoyed putting them on here so you all can see them. Love you all!

Beautiful Nebraska

I thought that I would let everyone see how beautiful Nebraska can be. This is a picture right after a thunderstorm. Isn't that just incredible? I love thunderstorms so very much.

Rebekah and Alyssa have entered softball for the summer. Alyssa really likes it, but Rebekah isn't so sure this is something that she would want to do again. Aaron has joined T-ball. His favorite thing is to yell across the field. He loves to yell! Jacob just stays with me while the other kids play. He wanders around on the benches and has of course fallen off several times, but that never stops him.

Richard and I still feel out of since since we moved here, but slowly we are starting to get into a rhythm. We took the kids to VBS this weekend. They just had an awesome time! You know what the greatest part was? The kids were going to have to miss Friday VBS because we had a softball game. So I told them if they prayed for rain then we wouldn't have to go. Sure enough they prayed for rain and it rained ALOT Friday. It rained so much that we didn't have practice Saturday either. Now is that God working or what?

What prayers have you seen answered in such an obvious way?

I love you all!
